Two pounds lost and I am yet to get back to working out. I figure it is either water weight or all the walking around I am doing at work. I am working my way back to exercise but struggling a little with getting motivated. I want to lose the weight but after nights of interrupted sleep due to nursing it is more difficult than I anticipated to say “Hey I am going to work out first thing and follow through!
I think I need to regroup. If I can’t do it with exercise at the moment, I am going to have to turn my attention to diet. Hmm… that might be enough motivation to exercise !! 🙂
My husband reminds me, exercise gives energy and as counter intuitive as it may seem, he is right. When I do workout I feel more energized not less. It is just hard to remember that in the morning when I am tired. I look at myself in pictures and I can barely recognize my body! I know I have to find the energy.
Ok. Once more, four days of exercise in the coming week. I CAN DO THIS. I am a smart girl. I’ll figure it out. Promise. Any new moms who are working out please leave a comment and any tips! They sure would be appreciated. 🙂
